Wells & Mendip Astronomers was founded in 2013 by Chris Starr. We meet regularly, with details under the 'Events'. Our home is Wells & Mendip Museum in England's smallest city of Wells, but we also arrange meetings and observing sessions all around the nearby area including Oakhill, Priddy and North Wootton.
We welcome members and visitors of any age, background, knowledge and experience. From beginners to experts, we share our interest in astronomy and space exploration through meetings, observing sessions, star parties and public outreach.
Our goal is to enjoy, share and develop our members interests and skills.
