Rosetta Mission Lecture

The 2016 AGM, which was well attended by the membership, was followed by a fascinating lecture given by Dr Andrew Morse of the Open University, whose team designed and tested one of the mass spectrometers that was landed on comet 67P Churyumov-Gerasimenko.

Even though the Philae lander didn't touch down as intended, it was still able to perform a vast amount of valuable science, which will keep comet scientists busy for many years to come!
